Quality Manager - NY

Position Summary  

Overall: Directs and coordinates the quality activities and functions of the organization, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems. Ensures that customers always receive defect free product and the highest quality service. Works together with other key Managers, as part of the Management Team.  

Departmental: Overall responsibility for the Quality Department and the Quality-Cleanroom Department, ensuring complete customer satisfaction, maximum efficiency of people and processes, superior product and process quality, and the highest safety standards.  

Position Requirements:  

Required:

  • BSEE as a minimum; and five to seven years plus experience working in a Quality Management capacity.
  •  Five years plus experience with failure analysis and report writing; and five years plus experience with MRB and product disposition recommendations. 
  • Three years plus experience with ISO9001:2000; and experience with active electronic components; or equivalent combination of hands on electrical engineering experience and a higher education level, such as an MBA.

Preferred:

  • Ten years plus Management experience in an organization with 75-150 employees.
  •  Ten years plus experience with active electronic components, preferably discrete semiconductors.
